DU LLB is a university-level entrance examination conducted for admission into 3- a 3-year LLB, offered by the Faculty of Law, Delhi University. This entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

REGISTRATION PROCESS & FEES:
- Candidates need to register themselves online for the DU LLB on the website. For registration, the candidate must first visit the DU LLB official website, i.e., law faculty.du.ac.in, and then click the ‘Registration’ link. After that, they have to Enter Personal Details such as name, date of birth, educational qualifications, address, Qualification details, and Contact Information and then upload a photograph in the prescribed format.
- Then Click on ‘Submit’, Press the ‘Application Form’ link, Enter the Registration Number and Password, fill in the required information, and remove the fee against the DU LLB Application Form.
- Documents required for registration process- Candidate’s photograph, Signature (Scanned image in jpg format), valid email ID & Scanned copy of all academic certificates, Mark sheets of class X, XII, graduation and/or other equivalent exams.
- A DU LLB admit card is issued to the candidate for appearing in the exam who fills and submits the application form on or before the last date as prescribed.
- Registration Fees for the DU LLB examination are Rs. 750 for UR/ OBC/ CW and Rs. 300 for EWS/ SC/ ST/ PWD.
ELIGIBILITY:
- The candidates should have completed graduation in any stream provided by Delhi University or any other university recognised by UGC.
- No up-and-comer on the rolls of LL.B. or then again ex-understudy of any University will be permitted to take confirmation in DU LLB course except if they get their confirmation dropped.
- General and EWS Category candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in aggregate in the qualifying examination. On the other hand, OBC/CW/PWD Category and SC/ST Category Candidates must have scored at least 45% and 40% marks, respectively.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying degree examination are also eligible to appear in DU LLB.
EXAM PATTERN:
- Exam to be conducted in online mode.
- The duration for the DU LLB exam is 2 hours/ 60 minutes.
- Exam to be conducted in English language.
- Questions come in a Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) format.
- Several questions are 100, for which the score band is 400 marks.
- The paper contains four sections that are-
- English comprehension
- General Knowledge
- Legal Awareness
- Analytical Abilities
- Each section includes 25 MCQs, and each question consists of 4 marks.
- 1 mark will be deducted for any wrong question.
SYLLABUS:
- ENGLISH COMPREHENSION- The questions in this segment are from understanding and grammar. They are planned to test a competitor’s fitness in English. In this area, up-comers are assessed based on their comprehension of the entry, its focal topic, the significance of words, etc. In the sentence structure area, candidates must detect mistakes and fill in the spaces with a fitting decision.
- GENERAL KNOWLEDGE- Applicants are tried based on their attention to public and global issues, including static General Knowledge. Stay up with the latest news and different subjects examined in the print and advanced media.
- LEGAL AWARENESS- This part tests an up-comer’s advantage in investigating law, research inclination, and critical thinking capacity.
- ANALYTICAL ABILITIES- The questions test an up-comer’s capacity to recognise designs and correct outlandish contentions and logical connections. They will be outlined around arguments, logical groupings, analogies, and so on, notwithstanding that visual thinking won’t be tried.
